Celebrating 90 Years of Swensons: Onosys at the Heart of the Celebration

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for Swensons, as the beloved drive-in restaurant celebrated its 90th anniversary! As a proud partner, Onosys was thrilled to join in the festivities and celebrate. We were excited to have a number of our team members representing Onosys at the event, including Chris Anderle, Melissa Sargent, Marissa Devantier, Emily Beauford, Matt Riley, and Tony Nguyen.

From stories of car hops and first dates to loyal customers who have made Swensons a staple in their lives, the event was a testament to the strong bond between Swensons and its community. As a sponsor of the event, Onosys had the privilege of giving back to some of the people who have played a vital role in Swensons’ 90-year journey. We gave out gift cards to six special guests whose unique connections to Swensons warmed our hearts:

• Jim West – A car hop in the 60s, Jim met his wife at Swensons, a true story of love and hamburgers!
• Tracy Newsome – A former Food Truck employee who brought Swensons’ iconic burgers to the streets.
• Candice Fox – She started her journey at the Seven Hills location and was instrumental in opening the North Olmsted location.
• Raven – A loyal customer who has supported Swensons for many years.
• Cory Nutter – A former Commissary driver who served from 2015-2018, keeping Swensons’ supply chain running smoothly.
• Donetta – Another dedicated customer whose love for Swensons runs deep.

It was a fantastic day of celebration and reminiscing over the countless memories that Swensons has created over the past nine decades. We’re grateful to have been part of such a momentous occasion and look forward to many more years of partnership, great food, and community spirit.
